Representative Ambureen Rana, HD 21: Bangor

Representative Rana is a champion of young people, working for health care expansion, access to affordable housing, and reduction of fatal overdoses. 

This session, Rep. Rana worked to pass An Act to Create a Sustainable Funding Source for Recovery Community Centers across Maine, working to ensure that these centers stay open and can expand their services to those who need them.

In the past, Rep. Rana has run workshops for young people on how to participate in the state legislative process and hopes to “cultivate more opportunities to connect with and work with young people in the Bangor area. I want to remind young people that they can have an influence and impact by participating in the legislative process.”
