Angela leads grant management and oversees the interaction between funding and organizing at Maine Youth Power. Originally from the green fields of Ohio, Angela came to the rocky coast of Maine to attend College of the Atlantic where she earned a BA in Human Ecology. She fell in love with the state and all it has to offer and has called it home ever since. Prior to joining Maine Youth Power, Angela worked at the Nature Based Education Consortium and Maine Environmental Education Association where she helped to write and pass LD 1902, Maine’s climate education professional development grant program, as well as Maine’s Environmental Literacy Plan.

She lives in Portland with her girlfriend and their two silly cats. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outside, collaging, and exploring all that Maine has to offer.
